Describe and rename your pictures

Dscribe your pictures with titles and labels (keywords). These description items will be used for renaming your files.

On the following screenshot, a picture of an album "vacations 2007" has "daisy" as title and "flowers", "Alpes" and "nature" as labels. A comment has also been added (displayed at the bottom of the photo).

Describing a picture is very fast using keys 1 to 6 of the keyboard, which allow to apply the most used keywords instantaneously. Describe up to 60 photos per minute !

The title and labels of each picture, together with the album name, allow to build new file names for your pictures.

Thus, a picture that was named "DSC_1270" out of your camera, and you selected for a "vacations 2007" album, may have a new name such has :

DSC_1270--vacations 2007_daisy
or
DSC_1270--vacations 2007_daisy__flower_nature_Alpes

If you do not want to keep the original name included in the new one, Youpix can replace it by a mere number. Which will give :

001--vacations 2007_daisy__flower_nature_Alpes

You can even include the ranking in the name : the number of hearts you decided to award to your favorite pictures will appear as "+" signs within the file names !
